AP Administrator (4-month Contract)

Are you looking for the next step in your career with an AP Administrator role? Watson Gloves has a great opportunity for someone looking to continue to grow their skills in AP with a 6-month contract! We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely payments for all of the Accounts Payable for the company.  We’re in growth mode, so at the end of the contract, we’ll earnestly assess whether there is another job opportunity within the company.

 

Your core RESPONSIBILITIES will include:

AP – Expenses

  • Coding, distributing for approval, and entering vendor invoices into GP weekly per AP purchasing policies

AP – Inventory

  • Matching Vendor Invoices to Inventory Receiving in GP weekly

AP – Employee Expenses & Corporate Credit Cards

  • Coding, distributing for approval, and entering expense reports into GP weekly
  • Auditing expenses against expense policy & reporting to management

Payments – Cheques

  • Preparing weekly cheque run per defined scheduled

Payments – Bill Pay / Wires

  • Preparing weekly Bill Payments for all items due through the next payment cycle
  • Preparing all Wires for Inventory purchases as outlined by the Purchasing Team

A/P Management

  • Reconciliation of all AP Statements received for any item over 60 days
  • Monthly review of AP Subledger for unpaid items, over payments, etc to ensure they are cleared on a timely basis

 

WHAT YOU BRING to Watson Gloves:

  • 1+ years high volume AP experience
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Experience with ERP software (GP Dynamics preferred)
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize
  • Team player who thrives in a fast paced, high intensity, dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude and customer focused approach
