Kasey Whitman of Watson Gloves Honored with ISA Veterans Empowerment Network Challenge Coin at ISA26
April 22, 2026 – Cleveland, OH – The Industrial Supply Association (ISA) recognized Kasey Whitman, CEO & President of Watson Gloves, with the Veterans Empowerment Network (VEN) Challenge Coin during ISA26, held April 20–22 in Cleveland, Ohio.
The VEN Challenge Coin is awarded to an ISA member in recognition of their meaningful contributions to the veteran community. The honor was presented by Ed Solis, Director of Sales at WD-40 Company and a committee member of ISA’s Veterans Empowerment Network.
ISA’s Veterans Empowerment Network was created to bring together individuals across the industrial supply channel who are committed to supporting veterans. The network is grounded in three core values: empowering veterans through education, creating strong connections across the industry, and supporting the broader veteran community through charitable initiatives and partnerships.
Challenge coins carry deep significance, particularly within military and veteran communities. Traditionally, they symbolize service, shared identity, and meaningful contributions. Within ISA’s VEN Network, the challenge coin represents individuals who go above and beyond to support veterans and make a lasting impact.
Whitman was recognized for his leadership and Watson Gloves’ ongoing commitment to veteran-focused initiatives. Since 2019, Watson Gloves has partnered with Wounded Warriors Canada to support mental health programs for veterans and first responders, including education, counseling, and training.
Through initiatives such as the company’s Shock Trooper gloves, Watson Gloves has raised more than $172,000 over the past five years, including $37,400 in 2025 alone. Building on that momentum, Watson Gloves expanded its efforts in 2025 by partnering with the Wounded Warrior Project in the United States, contributing $10,000 in its first year to support veterans’ mental health, wellness, and long-term care.
“Kasey’s leadership and commitment to giving back is a powerful example of how companies in our channel make a real difference,” said Brendan Breen, President and CEO of ISA. “His work reflects what the Veterans Empowerment Network is all about, taking action, building connections, and supporting those who have served.”
“Supporting veterans is part of who Watson Gloves is as a company,” said Whitman. “With the support of our shareholder, Martin Moore, we’re proud to partner with Wounded Warriors Canada and the Wounded Warrior Project to make a meaningful impact. We’re thankful to the ISA and the Veterans Empowerment Network for their leadership in this important work”.
The Veterans Empowerment Network continues to recognize individuals and organizations making an impact across the industry. To nominate someone or learn more about the network, visit: https://www.isapartners.org/networks/veterans-empowerment/
