Watson Anniversary – Mark Adair’s 20th Work Anniversary

Our super reliable, always-friendly delivery driver, Mark Adair, is celebrating his 20th anniversary at Watson Gloves!

What do you do at Watson Gloves?

I drive the delivery vehicle “Big Red”, which allows me to bring products to our customers, and I also occasionally pick up products and materials that we need.

How did you start your career here at Watson Gloves?

Two of my long-time friends worked for Watson Gloves. They knew I was looking for work and put in a good word. The rest is history, as they say.

What do you like most about your job?

I love being out and about going around different areas and seeing our customers. I’ve gotten to know many customers over the years and build great relationships with them. In fact, many of them call me the “glove guy”. I also enjoy seeing the areas and neighbourhoods I deliver to change and transform, and there have been a lot changes in 20 years! Haha

What’s your most memorable moment at Watson Gloves?

I have a lot of good memories. It was amazing to see the whole process when we moved from our old building at Main and 2nd ave to the empty field in Burnaby to build what we now call as our Burnaby location. Also, the 100th year anniversary party will always be a good memory.

What does ‘Watson Family’ mean to you?

I’ve seen a lot of people join the Watson Family over the years, and to see the talent and love they bring into the family is amazing
