OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100

OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 Logo

OEKO-TEX® is an association established in 1992 and aims to continuously develop test methods and limit values for the textile and leather industry so that consumers can have trust in the products they buy. They have a variety of standards, including STANDARD 100, the leading global, independent label for textiles tested for harmful substances.

STANDARD 100

The OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 is a standard that tests for harmful substances in textiles. The standard aims to build customer confidence and high product safety. When you see a Watson Gloves product with the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 marking, you can be confident that the product will not be harmful to your health due to chemicals or other harmful substances.

OEKO-TEX® accredited institutes conduct the tests in their labs based on OEKO-TEX®’s globally standardized criteria, which is updated at least once a year. In these tests, every single component of the textile is tested. Learn more about the standard by watching the video below.
